Hair Loss
Hair communicates:
Its main function is to indicate our general health and age, but from ancient times we have used it for signals of personality, sexuality and strength ( related to health). The crown chakra is the highest vibrational energy centre at the top of the head and as such hair also represents our connection to spirituality and intuition.
Hair loss is often a secondary problem with a relationship to the quality of the blood and the dermis of the scalp. So the first place to look for the emotional cause is what was happening in your life BEFORE the hair loss started.
When blood is an issue then often it might be related to problems with the flow of life and control issues and the emotions of worry and fear: Fears may have been triggered by recent circumstances that will relate back to issues in childhood of feeling unsafe. That lack of safety means you were unable to communicate well with someone, and you felt rejected by them. This situation means you try to control everything around you to avoid feeling rejected, lost or unsafe. When control or communication is lost for whatever reason, worry and fears take over. Vitality and the quality of your life (blood) is diminished.
Alternatively the dermis being part of the skin might indicate that your boundaries have been compromised and you feel invaded and unable to express your emotions to a dominant person.
This issue asks you to consider how you communicate in the world. Not only to others but also to yourself; Negative self talk and being so hard on yourself can be at the root of this problem, if this resonates how and from whom did you learn this pattern from? Explore patterns of self punishment and consider how rejection fits into your life. If worry and fear fits for you write out all your worries, and read them again. Seeing them on paper how does that feel? what do you feel able to change? Do those feelings remind you of situations from the past, if so what is your pattern of reaction to them?
Lastly consider your ancestry and see if there are any generational patterns relate to poverty and malnutrition, if so these patterns of hardship may be playing out within your body.
